2017 Honda Civic Hatchback keeps it sedan-like
Don't call it a hatch simply because it's got five doors.
The new Honda Civic hatchback gets Sport and Sport Touring trim lines for 2017.
Unfortunately, the "hatch" part of the hatchback seems to be more in line with the sedan's profile.
Still, the little hatch strikes a good pose, especially in this Rallye Red paint color.
Don't worry. Those large intakes back there are just for show. Boo.
The Sport trim line with the six-speed manual transmission knocks out 180 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque.
With the rear seats folded up, the Civic hatchback has about 25 cubic feet of space. Fold those bad boys out of the way and that space increases to 46.2 cubic feet.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard on the EX and above trim lines.
Adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow is now available, making your traffic-filled morning commute a bit easier.
The Sport Touring trim line gets a continuously variable transmission with 180 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque.
Regardless of your trim choice, all Civic hatchbacks come with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine. Click through for more photos of the 2017 Civic hatchback.
