This snarly looking thing is actually a mid-level Camaro V-6 RS.
RS models come standard with 20-inch wheels that are wider and lighter than before. This V6 RS rides on Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric all-season, run-flat rubber.
The new Camaro V6 weighs 3,435 pounds in eight-speed automatic trim, giving it a very solid 10.3-pounds per horsepower ratio.
In photos, the 2016 Camaro doesn't look as differentiated from its predecessor as it does in person, where it's easier to appreciate its aggressive sheetmetal contours and subtle detailing.
The rear of the Camaro continues to have a fat, flat bumper look and narrow rectangular tail lights.
In V-6 trim, Chevy claims the new Camaro is 294 pounds lighter than its predecessor, and it's also more powerful.
