1985 Honda CRX Si is a rolling time capsule
This 35-year-old example is a reminder of how far we've come, and how much we've lost.
This is a 1985 Honda CRX Si.
It's part of Honda's collection, rolled out for us to sample.
And what a sample, looking nearly as fresh as the day it rolled off the assembly line 35 years ago.
Under the hood is a tiny, 1.5-liter engine. No VTEC here.
And on the inside? How do you feel about vinyl and velour?
Seating is just for two on the US edition of the CRX.
The seats are tiny but they are comfortable.
Heck, everything is tiny.
Styling is of its era, but this thing still turns heads today.
It's the ultimate palate-cleanser in a sea of excellent, modern machines.
