Capacity
With bottom freezers, your fresh ingredients are up top. In this fridge, you get 7.3 cubic feet of fresh food storage space.
Freezer down below
There's another 3.2 cubic feet down in the freezer, bringing you total to 10.5 cubic feet. That's about average for compact-sized models like this one.
Temp controls
You'll control the temperature with these controls up here.
Freezer controls
The freezer controls are in the fridge, too, tucked away in the back.
Crisper bin
The refrigerator offers a single crisper bin -- it's actually the coldest spot in the fridge.
Humidity controls
You can control the humidity in that bin using this slider.
Room for groceries
Despite the small size, we were very nearly able to fit our entire, full-sized load of test groceries into the fridge (albeit in cramped fashion).
Default setting
Temperatures were colder towards the bottom of the fridge, which makes sense since the freezer is down at the very bottom. The top shelves all ran a bit warm.
Coldest setting
Temperatures fell a bit at the coldest setting, but not by much.
Price
The GE GBE10ESJSB compact bottom freezer fridge sells for $900, though you can probably find it for closer to $800 if you shop around. Read our full review to see if we think it's worth it.
