If you want to push the boundaries of fashion while picking dirt off the floor, the Denso Ecology Shoes are for you!
Japanese auto company Denso held a contest among employees to "foster their creative and innovative design concepts" and the Ecology Shoes were voted a finalist.
These shoes have a thick wedge, which is home to a manually powered vacuum.
On the heel is a pedal that powers the vacuum every time you take a step.
Dirt and debris are sucked into a small compartment in each shoe that can be removed and emptied out.
The shoe is just a prototype, and while it sounds cool in theory, it isn't the most practical shoe. Or vacuum.
Stay tuned to CNET's coverage of CES 2017 to see more wacky products like the Denso Ecology Shoes.
