This is Aiways' autonomous charging robot. It's named CARL.
CARL will wander around, and when summoned, charge electric cars autonomously.
You call CARL via an app and the robot uses GPS data to locate your car and start charging autonomously.
The Chinese startup wants to bring the EV charging to station to owners, not the other way around.
With several patents, Aiways plans to develop CARL for deployment in the future.
