The 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class is many things to many people
From the posh-sensible GLC300 to the pavement-punishing AMG GLC63 S Coupe, Mercedes' compact luxury SUV is all about bandwidth.

The Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class has been on sale since the 2016 model year.
The compact luxury crossover is sold in a conventional SUV guise.
Additionally, it's sold in a coupe-like variant with a swoopier silhouette.
There's limited standard tech in the GLC: Just a seven-inch screen with HD radio and an SD card reader. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are optional.
The GLC-Class SUV can seat five occupants, but its 56.5 cubic feet of cargo space lags behind the competition.
At 49.4 cubic feet, the GLC Coupe offers even less space than the SUV version.
Engine options run the gamut from a 241-horsepower, 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder to a hand-built, 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8 pumping out 503 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque.
As a result of its performance bandwidth, the GLC-Class has base prices ranging from $40,700 to $81,800 plus $995 for destination.
The most efficient GLC-Class (the GLC300) can achieve an EPA-estimated 22 (city) or 27 (highway) mpg.
