Acura rolls out China-only CDX, unlikely to go anywhere else (pictures)
Despite America's love for both small SUVs and luxury vehicles, it's unlikely that we'll see the CDX on our shores for some time.
This is the CDX, which is believed to be based on the Honda HR-V.
Nobody's really sure, though, because Acura is weirdly silent about this car.
It's powered by a 1.5-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder engine, likely from the Honda Civic.
Its dual-clutch transmission is likely a parts-bin addition from other Acura models.
It will be built and sold exclusively in China.
Acura's probably not going to bring this to the US because it's too close to the RDX.
The RDX is selling better than it ever has, and any smaller ute would likely eat into those sales.
