ZTE's Blade V7 and V7 Lite
ZTE is keeping it low key this year at Mobile World Congress, debuting two new mid-range handsets with little fanfare. Known as the Blade V7 and Blade V7 Lite, the phones are set to launch globally this year in select countries.
The bigger of the two
The Blade V7 is equipped with a 5.2-inch full HD display and runs on Google's Android.
Octa-core power inside
It's powered by a 1.3GHz octa-core processor and a 2,500mAh battery.
Sleek and thin
The handset is thin and compact, measuring 5.75 by 2.85 by 0.29 inches (146x72.5x7.5mm).
A look at the bottom
On the bottom edge are audio speakers and a Micro-USB port for charging and transfering files.
For your informal photo needs
For your photographic needs, the Blade V7 has a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front shooter.
The small details
The phone features 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and an FM radio app.
Other nerdy details
A few of the device's extra features include gesture controls, Voice over LTE capabilities and Bluetooth 4.0.
Springing into these markets
The smartphone is launching in Germany, Spain, South Africa, Ethiopia and Mexico in early Spring.
The smaller V7 Lite
Meanwhile, the ZTE Blade V7 Lite is a 5-inch, more affordable alternative.
8-megapixel cameras on oth sides
The device has an 8-megapixel camera on both its back and front to capture images.
Lightweight, polished design
The handset has an HD display and measures 5.66 by 2.76 by 0.31 inches (143.8x70.2x7.9mm).
A fingerprint reader in the back
On the back of the phone is a fingerprint sensor for extra user security.
Taking another look
Another look at the fingerprint scanner. The Blade V7 Lite also has a quad-core processor, a 2,500mAh battery and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Launching in Russia first
The device will launch in Spring and will debut in Russia, then Mexico, Spain, Germany and Thailand.
ZTE's lowkey MWC presence
