The latest 3D printer from XYZprinting, the Da Vinci Jr. is a compact printer, much smaller than last year's All-in-One Da Vinci AiO 1.o.

The Da Vinci Jr. has a single extruder and works with one filament source at a time.

The machine has a little LCD and an SD card slot so it can print directly from an SD card.

The printer has a small build plate of 5.9 by 5.9 inches (15 by 15 cm).

Though intended to be a "compact" printer, the Jr. is still quite large compared with other printers on the market with the same sized build plate.

I Got an Early Look at Intel's Glass Packaging Tech for Faster Chips
Rahul Manepalli, right, Intel's module engineering leader, shows a glass substrate panel before it's sliced into the small rectangles that will be bonded to the undersides of hundreds of test processors. The technology, shown here at Intel's CH8 facility in Chandler, Arizona, stands to improve performance and power consumption of advanced processors arriving later this decade. Glass substrates should permit physically larger processors comprised of several small "chiplets" for AI and data center work, but Intel expects they'll trickle down to PCs, too.
