The flagship phone from the Chinese company may look to have borrowed some ideas from Apple, but it does stand out.
Xiaomi's flagship Mi 4 boasts powerful internals, including a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and 3GB of RAM. It also comes with either 16GB or 64GB of storage space.
The rear cover is removable, though you'll need a suction cup to pry it off. There's also a wide variety of designs to choose from.
The phone's design resembles the iPhone 5S, especially the stainless steel metal edge.
It's currently only on sale in China, but will soon be in wider circulation throughout Asia.
Unlike other Android phones that have moved on to onscreen keys, Xiaomi still uses physical touch-sensitive buttons.
The metal edge feels good, and helps protect the phone.
The phone sports a pretty good 13-megapixel camera.
The Mi 4's frame bears more than a few similarities to Apple's iPhone 5S (top).
It's considerably cheaper than Apple's effort, however, starting at 1,999RMB, which converts to $320, £190 or AU$345.
