The main body of the fridge stands out from the many stainless models with a slate finish. The only exterior piece that's stainless are these curved handles.
Open up the fridge, and LEDs light up the bright white interior. 15.8 of the 22.7 total cubic feet are dedicated to fresh food.
Two plastic drawers at the bottom give you a spot for veggies, meats or cheeses.
There's an additional drawer under one of the upper shelves.
On the inside of the left wall, you'll find a water dispenser. It's an odd choice, but it gives you a place to get filtered water without crowding the exterior of the door.
The water gets filtered here.
The control panel works intuitively. You can turn on a turbo mode, an alarm, an energy saver and control the temp.
The freezer drawer pulls out, giving you 6.9 cubic feet for frozen food.
A shelf on the upper right of the freezer gives you a place to separate items from the main bin.
The bin for the automatic ice maker pulls out of the top left corner.
We packed a surprising amount of food into the fridge's 22.7-cubic-foot capacity.

The GE GNS23GMHES performs well, and provides plenty of space, and all for $1,600, which sits near the bottom of the French door price range.
