This countertop is hiding a secret (pictures)

The Dupont Corian Charging Surface looks like a normal countertop from the outside, but underneath are installed devices that can wirelessly charge your phone.

The chargers work with both Powermat and Qi enabled devices, and they charge phones that are placed directly above them.

Newer Android devices like this Samsung Galaxy will charge automatically when you set them above the charger.

iPhones, which currently do not support wireless charging, must be plugged into one of these Dupont PMA rings.

The spot on the counter where the phone will charge is pretty small, so you can mark it subtly with a daub of paint.

Or you can use one of Corian's stickers for a starker starburst appearance. It just depends on the aesthetic of the kitchen.
