The Inspiron 13 7000 is thinner, lighter and better looking than last year's model.
This is Dell's new Inspiron 13 7000.
There is a standard laptop option, but it's mainly sold as a 2-in-1. That means it doubles as a tablet.
Look at that stretch.
It's thinner and lighter than last year's model.
At 0.61 inches and 3.2 pounds, it's down from the 0.76 inches and 3.5 pounds of last year's 13 7000.
It still has Windows Hello facial recognition, a nice touch for a sub-$999 laptop.
Another feature that is quite literally a nice touch is the backlit keyboard.
The Inspiron starts at $880 (AU$1,799, UK £899), though you can get a model with an i7 processor for $1,049 (AU$2,399, £1,018).
Here it is in full-on tablet mode.
It's got plenty of ports, including one for HDMI.
Plus an SD card reader!
