For a mere $40, the Hamilton Beach MultiBlend Blender can tackle most ordinary food-mixing tasks.
Compact but small capacity
Unfortunately while the Hamilton Beach MultiBlend is compact, it only has a small 48-ounce mixing jar.
Classy though not up close
The MultiBlend may look like its made from premium metal but a closer inspection reveals plastic parts and fake chrome.
A push-button panel
The Hamilton Beach MultiBlend features a five-button control panel to blend in multiple speeds.
These blades could be bigger
The MultiBlend's blade array is on the small side.
A lid with many caps
The blender's lid sports a mixing cap plus a flip-open spout for adding liquids on the fly.
Smoothies shouldn't be an issue
Though test smoothies took a bit longer in the MultiBlend, I had no trouble making them.
Pesto without the presto
Whipping up a decent pesto was possible but you'll need to help things along by also performing some hand mixing.
