
HTC is hoping that a mirrored back and a quirky "squeeze control" feature will be enough for its new U11 flagship phone to challenge Samsung's glossy Galaxy S8.

The ultrasound sensors, which are built into the edge of the device, allow you to gently squeeze the phone to perform certain actions, like opening an app.
A quick single squeeze could open the camera, for example.
A long squeeze might open your email.
The U11 is beautiful and glossy.

In addition to Google Assistant, you can now get Amazon Alexa to work on the phone, which means you can control your smart home from the phone, or reorder items.
