The coolest, quirkiest gadgets of IFA (pictures)

We're here at the IFA trade show in Berlin, taking a look at the latest, greatest technology around. In this gallery, we take you through some of the coolest audio gear, some handy gadgets for your phone and some quirky little robots thrown in for good measure.

There are loads of audio products at the show this year, these are the Molami Stitch headphones.

The Garmin Vivosmart is a wearable fitness tracker.

E-Ink is here, showing off its Spectra display tech, which can handle black and white and one extra colour.

These wasp-coloured headphones are called the Jabra Pulse. Their superpower? They can monitor your heart rate.

The Skullcandy Air Raid speakers. Small, but noisy.

Meet Sphero's Ollie. We've seen this two-tyred racing robot before, but it's always a cheerful sight. It has a new ramp accessory.

More modelling, this time of the Plantronics Backbeat Pro headphones.

Meet the Galaxy Note 5. Only joking -- this massive device is an air purifier, the Blueair Pro...

...while this smaller option is the Blueair Blue.

Parallels is touting its desktop software, which lets you access a second operating system from your computer. Six months free access to the software is going to come bundled with the Galaxy Note 4.

3Doodler, the 3D printing pen, is showing off some cool accessories -- including a pedal which lets you operate the 3Doodler using your feet.

This is the QardioArm, a smart blood pressure monitor, which feeds blood pressure readings back to your phone so you can track your health and provide day-by-day stats to your doctor.

The Innergie LifeHub lets you charge three devices at once.

Innergie is also showing off the PocketCell Pro, a portable battery charger.

Meet Honeywell's Evohome, which gives you the power to control the temperature in up to 12 rooms.

Mophie has made one of its battery-extending Juicepacks for the Galaxy S5.

Mophie also has the Power Reserve option. There's the option to get this with a Lightning port, to charge a new iPhone or iPad.

This is the HP Envy X2, a massive tablet that clips onto a keyboard.

Here's Luke Westaway for scale. The X2 really is huge.

Cobra's CDR900E is a dashboard camera, to record what happens on the road.

Toshiba has some interesting kit. First up, the Canvio Aero Mobile, a wireless 128GB solid-state drive.

This is the Toshiba Chromebook 2...

...and the Satellite CL 10-V, which is a Windows cloud computing gadget. It's a bit like a Chromebook that runs Windows.

Finally, this is Toshiba's Satellite Radius 11, a hybrid Windows notebook.

Now for fashion. Meet the Stellé mini-clutch, which is both a small handbag, and a speaker.

The Meta Watch Meta M1, a smartwatch with an electronic ink screen.

This is the Withings Home, a home security camera that also monitors the purity of the air in your house!

We recognise this creepy gadget -- it's the Mother home monitoring system from Sen.se.

Olloclip has made one of its four-in-one lens accessories for Samsung Galaxy phones. It fits the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S5.

This archery target-looking gadget is actually a speaker. The B&O Beoplay A9 to be specific.

Eep, a drone! This is the DJI Phantom 2 Vision+.

The Kobo Aura H20 is a waterproof ebook reader. Perfect for bath time literature.

These are the Sennheiser Urbanite headphones.

Hurrah! A robot. This is the WowWee Mip, a balancing toy robot.

Nest is here, with its Learning Thermostat.

Wacom is showing off a few new gadgets. This is the Intuos Stylus 2, a stylus for doodling on the iPad...

...while this second stylus is also for using on the iPad, it's designed for writing, rather than doodling.

Back to Stellé -- this is the Earbud Locket, a locket necklace that contains headphones. Nifty.

This is a Prestigio Windows Phone smartphone, called the Multiphone 8500 Duo.

Finally, the ShoulderPad S1, a handy handle that helps you take photos and video with your smartphone. As an added bonus, it has a tripod attachment -- for those who take their phone photography seriously.
