Seen here, the iPhone resembles a framed book when wearing the Kavaj.
The Kavaj leather iPhone 5 case comes wrapped in black tissue paper and sealed with the company's logo sticker. I appreciate the attention to detail.
Unwrapping the Kavaj reminds me of opening a gift during the holidays. That's a nice touch.
There are two slots on the back of the case for credit cards or a driver's license. This is perfect if you are a minimalist, but I opted not to use them since I didn't want to stretch the pocket. I enjoy the elegance of the leather case without the cards.
The case has a cover flap that opens like a book and stays closed with the help of two magnets. It takes some acclimation if you're used to a bumper style case, but i like the clean lines when it's closed.
The phone stays secure by folding a leather flap underneath.
The backside is shown here without cards in the slots. Once again, I prefer to leave the slots empty for aesthetic reasons and to insure the case doesn't lose its tight fit.
You can use the cover flap to prop the phone up when you're watching a video.
