The best Android tablet camera just got better (pictures)
Since the Transformer Prime's debut, a Transformer tablet has hosted the best Android tablet camera. While the 8-megapixel back camera on the TF300 was impressive, the TF700's is even more so.
Eric Franklin
Eric Franklin led the CNET Tech team as Editorial Director. A 20-plus-year industry veteran, Eric began his tech journey testing computers in the CNET Labs. When not at work he can usually be found at the gym, chauffeuring his kids around town, or absorbing every motivational book he can get his hands on.
Yep, our old tablet-camera-testing friend, Foxy Brown (that's what I call him, at least), is back and is once again ready for his closeup. The TF700 includes an 8-megapixel back camera with an F/2.2 aperture.

Ahh, that's better
A much more appropriate (and a lot less creepy) pic of Lynn, doing her own testing thing.

Contrast
Donald Bell's desk is rife with sunlight, toys, gadgets, and other geeky fun stuff. You know, like sunlight! NEEEEERRRDDD!

Don't judge
Pay no attention to the titles of these books and focus your attention instead on the fine detail of each book's spine that the camera was able to capture.

Looks better on the tablet
This picture actually looks better (no noticeable aliasing) when viewed on the tablet or at its full resolution.

Not my car
No, this isn't my car, but that didn't stop me from seizing an opportunity to use its engine for my own, professional purposes.
