The 120 mph Sora electric motorcycle: A hot green ride (pictures)
The Quebec-built Sora electric motorcycle recently got its certification from the Canadian Ministry of Transport. The $41,000 bike is revving up lots of attention.
The Sora electric motorcycle from Quebec-based Lito Green Motion has a top speed of 120 mph and a range of 185 miles on an 8-hour charge. That's a long recharge time, but the bike will e-mail you when it's ready.
Sora, which means "sky" in Japanese, was inspired by streetfighter and cafe racer bikes, and has been drawing attention in design circles for years. Lito calls it "a unique style of motorcycle that is part custom, part sport bike -- combined in one super-machine."
