Tamron's peachy primes (pictures)

The new telephoto prime has the elegant design of the SP series.

Both lenses have nine rounded aperture blades for smooth out-of-focus areas.

The macro has three focus-limiter settings, with the close-up range setting from 0.3 meters or 11.8 inches to 0.5m or 20 in. That's a good limiting range for macro photography.

The updated 90mm macro looks much more modern than its predecessor.

The Tamron lenses have large, easier to feel switches.
