Foursquare's new social app keeps tabs on where your friends go, so you can meet up with them.
Foursquare's newest app Swarm takes all the social features of Foursquare, adds a few more, and puts them all in their own standalone app. With the app, you can see where your friends go, create spur of the moment plans, and stay on top of your own Foursquare activity.
You can see all of your friends' latest check-ins on the activity page.
Just like in Foursquare, you can check into locations in Swarm. You can also add new stickers to your check-in to express your mood.
If you tap on anyone's check-in, you can see the location on a map and see who else is there.
One of Swarm's biggest features helps you create a plan that you then share with your Foursquare friends to see if they want to be apart of it. You can create a vague plan about going to the beach, or add more specific details about the time and tag a Foursquare location, so your friends know where you're headed and when.
After you create a new plan, your friends can comment it on it, or tap the "I'm interested" button to let you know they want to go.
Swarm helps you stay on top of your activity, seeing when new people add you as a friend, or when someone likes your check-in.
