Sony Ericsson's releasing a new phone -- the awkwardly named Live with Walkman. It's an Android blower with more musical chops than a whistling butcher. Click through the photos above to ogle the Live from every angle, and read on for the skinny.

The Live with Walkman -- uh, we'll go with just 'Live', if that's cool -- draws on Sony's long history of building noise-making tech. That boils down to a Walkman hardware button, the tapping of which will catapult you into the phone's music player.

Audio output is apparently enhanced through something called 'xLOUD' technology. Sounds lovely. Probably.

The Live has a 3.2-inch display, a 5-megapixel camera on the back, and a 1GHz processor to keep things moving along at a fair old lick. The Live will run Android 2.3 Gingerbread, so it will offer access to the wealth of apps in the Android Market.

We've been informed that Facebook has been baked into every nook and cranny, which should mean you'll be able to Like stuff, or share photos and songs, without having to open a separate app.

Judging by the images, the Live doesn't appear to be as sleek as its big brother, the Xperia Arc. We'd guess it will be a mid-range mobile, which is just fine by us.
