The free Slices for Twitter app helps you make the Twitter accounts you follow more manageable, dividing them up into categories.

Slide out menu

In the slide-out menu, you can view your slices, search for content, or use the Explore features to find more accounts that interest you.

Tap the heading for more actions

Tapping the heading lets you choose a different slice from your list, or you can choose to only see tweets in the category that contain images or video.

Manage your slices

Create and manage slices from the slide-out menu. Here you can also find out which people you follow are not already part of a slice.

Explore several categories

The Explore options let you browse through categories, and you can view a Live Events tab for just the Twitter activity related to a specific event.

Rahul Manepalli, right, Intel's module engineering leader, shows a glass substrate panel before it's sliced into the small rectangles that will be bonded to the undersides of hundreds of test processors. The technology, shown here at Intel's CH8 facility in Chandler, Arizona, stands to improve performance and power consumption of advanced processors arriving later this decade. Glass substrates should permit physically larger processors comprised of several small "chiplets" for AI and data center work, but Intel expects they'll trickle down to PCs, too.
