Sky Guide gives an HD view of the stars (pictures)
Sky Guide takes advantage of thousands of photos to present you with more information than you could ever ask for when stargazing.
Compass mode
As you'll learn in the tutorial, you can navigate the app with gestures or by activating the compass mode to use your device's gyroscope.
Realistic look and feel
The overlays of the sky above (or below) look amazing. You'll find yourself staring at your device, then the sky, and actually be able to picture what's on the screen.
Night Vision
Night Vision mode is perfect for eliminating any discomfort when viewing a bright screen in the darkness. Take advantage of it should you find your eyes hurting when stargazing.
Search and viewing times
Not only can you search for more information regarding a space object, but you can also view when it will be present in the sky for you to see, or when it will disappear until the next night.
A lot to learn
Unsure what it is you're looking at? Sky Guide is full of information about planets, stars, constellations, and satellites. Did you realize there are rocket bodies, which amount to space junk, constantly circling the planet? I didn't.
