Amazon's newest Alexa gadget is a touchscreen speaker called the Echo Show. Click through to see the sorts of things it can, you know, show you.

New design

The addition of a touchscreen obviously meant Alexa needed a whole new look. And here it is -- a 7-inch touchscreen display housed in a blocky little smart speaker.

Hard lines

The new design ditches the cylindrical curvature of the Echo and Echo Dot. Instead, things are much more angular.

Controls

The Echo Show has just three buttons up top. For everything else, you'll use the touchscreen, or your voice.

Buttons

Those buttons are, from right to left: Volume up, volume down and a mute button that turns Alexa off.

You'll need to keep the Echo Show plugged in.

Video calls

The marquee feature is video calls to other Alexa users. FaceTime-like chats are just an Alexa command away.

Camera feeds

You can also ask to see the feed from select smart home cameras. Options from Nest, August, Logitech and the Netgear Arlo are all supported at launch.

One viewing angle

You only get one fixed viewing angle and you can't reposition the built-in camera.

Shopping

And yes, you can shop Amazon on this thing (duh).
