T-Mobile's little Samsung Galaxy Light

With a 4-inch screen, the Samsung Galaxy Light is one of the most pocket-friendly phones we've seen in a long time. Samsung's reliable take on Android 4.2 also makes this $240 off-contract phone one of T-Mobile's best Android deals.

Phone design

Its rounded corners, glossy finish, and oblong Home button are fairly cookie-cutter, signaling that this is absolutely a Samsung device.

Camera action

The 5-megapixel camera takes decent but not inspiring photos. It's helped by autofocus and an LED flash.

In profile

Shorter phones are usually a little thicker, and this one is no exception at 0.4-inch.

Black or brown?

It's hard to tell, but if you catch the light just so, you can see that the Galaxy Light is a deep, dark brown.

One last look

Inside, the Galaxy Light has a quad-core processor and 8GB of storage, and will hold up to 64GB more behind the back cover.
