The incredible booths of SDCC 2017

Here at the San Diego Comic-Con, there are more booths than you can shake a stick at -- assuming you can find space to shake a stick, that is.

He's a (Lego) brick Thor. He's mighty mighty. Seriously, though, these Lego sculptures are always quite impressive.

And if you're more of a DC fan than Marvel, there's this sculpture of the Flash. He's got some rock-hard abs. Well, plastic-hard.

DC has a very cool booth.

This awesome Harley was made by Monster City Studios.

Even on preview night, there were throngs of folks congregating near the Marvel booth.

The Mattel booth is showcasing a Batmobile! 

This ride is from the upcoming "Justice League" film.

The Star Wars booth -- it does seem a little quaint calling the humongous area "a booth" -- was packed to the gills with toys, replica weapons, helmets and, of course, tons of people.

You can take photos with original props used in "The Last Jedi."

Oh, and kid-sized Landspeeders. Did we mention those?

TBS sitcom "People of Earth," whose second season starts on July 24, had a pretty snazzy booth. 

To remove the hordes of people usually checking out the Konami booth, just enter up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, Start.

Note: This may not actually work unless you are delirious from being on your feet all day.

Dark Horse Comics, publisher of "Hellboy," "Sin City," "American Gods" and a bazillion other titles (yes, a bazillion; we counted) was there, hosting a number of signings with creators.

CNET's Roger Cheng was attacked... c'mon, Roger, it just wants a hug!

Obligatory "yes, and there are also comic books" joke goes here.

But really, lots and lots of comics. 

This booth always has great photo opportunities for fans!

The thing about droids is you can't always tell if they're sleeping or not.

The extraordinary Alex Ross had a booth with lots of pieces of art on display.

Oh sure, Nickelodeon's got Spongebob stuff at its booth, but where's the love for "You Can't Do That on Television?" (Kids, ask your parents about it or check Wikipedia.)

Who lives in a pineapple at Comic-Con?

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles always make skulking about look cool.

Viz, the home of many, many anime and manga characters, including One Punch Man, had this stunning booth on the floor.

An emotional experience for both Star Wars and Debbie Reynolds fans. This booth shows some items owned by both actresses. 

This Princess Leia prop was used during Fisher's comedy special on HBO, "Wishful Drinking."

You will find some amazing posters. More posters you'll want than you have walls to put them on, possibly.

Among the other cool stuff at Nuclear Blast Records' booth: pinball!

Gentle Giant, home of amazing collectibles from your favorite properties. And a pretty dope-looking booth, to boot!

The booth for Starz's show "Outlander," based on the best-selling book series by Diana Gabaldon is a little different from the average booth here, and that's pretty neat.

Hasbro had a mammoth booth area as well. Transformers, Star Wars, My Little Pony, you name the franchise and it was probably there.

This is a must-see. The Hasbro team made reenactments of some of the iconic scenes of "Episode IV."

The little ones can get their nails and makeup done in the Hasbro booth.

And keep in mind, this is just a sampling of the booths.

I think the sword budged a little bit. Really!

You can also prove how worthy you are by hefting Thor's hammer, Mjolnir.

This is a crazy detailed Millennium Falcon, which is "coming soon."

Sure, this Ecto-1 replica might be a little too big to display on your desk, but it still looks amazing.

There's even a place where you can try playing Pit People, from The Behemoth, the developers behind castle Crashers and BattleBlock Theater.

Upper Deck Entertainment has a very cool Iron Man.

Lots of video game opportunities at SDCC 2017.

You can pose with Mario at Nintendo's booth.

Not far from the Nintendo booth, Blizzard staked out a chunk of the floor to feature its popular games.

Netflix's booth featured some of its original series. On Saturday, the company's "Stranger Things" will have a panel in the immense Hall H to talk about its second season.

This Vikings booth is an imposing structure on the floor.
