It's a good, trusty flip phone for 20 bucks with a new, two-year agreement. 'Nuff said!

Portable

It isn't tiny per se, but the Samsung SPH-M370 flip phone slips easily into front pockets and purse pockets.

Open up

The M370's clamshell design should be reassuring to those looking for a simple, sturdy phone. The doubled-over design protects the screen during drops.

Hinged

A thick, durable hinge controls the smooth flipping action.

Keypad

The buttons and toggle on the navigation array and dial pad are large, tactile, and very nice to punch.

Externals

A charging port, camera shutter button, and 3.5-millimeter headset jack are all on the right spine.

Camera

The 1.3-megapixel camera takes pretty poor shots, but I can't hold the phone too accountable, since it's not even pretending to be your primary camera. You'll want to use it for capturing mugs for photo ID, and that's about it.
