Behold what could be the first unofficial look at Samsung's next smartphone, the so-called J1.
At first glance, this "Samsung Galaxy J1" looks nearly identical to the Samsung Galaxy S3 from a few years back.
It's been updated for modern times, though, with the bottom left button bringing up recently used apps instead of calling forth menu options.
The Samsung J1 could feature a hint of silver around the edges. The edges may also be more rounded than Galaxy models.
Like the recently introduced Galaxy A5 and A3, the J1 should making snapping selfies as easy as holding out your hand.
Keeping with other rumored entry-level specifications, the J1 figures to offer a 5-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front-facing shooter.
The Samsung J1 should let users squeeze extra life out of the battery thanks to the custom Ultra Power Saving Mode.
Although the Galaxy Alpha ushered in a new design direction, the J1 bears a striking resemblance to more traditional Samsung models. Learn more about the rumored device here.
