Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7
Samsung already offers tablets in the 7-, 8.9-, and 10.1-inch sizes and now you can add 7.7 inches to that list. Announced at IFA 2011, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is the first of the company's tablets to feature a Super AMOLED Plus touch screen with a resolution of 1,280x800 pixels.
Samsung TouchWiz UX
The Galaxy Tab 7.7 will ship running Android 3.2 Honeycomb along with Samsung's TouchWiz UX. The latter offers a Live Panel menu for customizing home screens, a mini apps tray, and clipboard feature, among other things.
Camera
On back, you'll find a 3-megapixel camera with LED flash, and on front there's a 2-megapixel camera.
Hardware
Hardware specs include a 1.4GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of memory with support for 32GB MicroSD cards, and a 5,100mAh battery.
Design
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 measures 7.74 inches tall by 5.23 inches wide by 0.31 inch thick and weighs 11.81 ounces.
Pricing and availability
Samsung said availability "depends on the market" but did not provide specific details about release dates or pricing at this time.
