Rhapsody for Android plays music on demand (photos)
We take a close look at the Spotify-like Rhapsody streaming music app for Android.
Home sweet home
Rhapsody's Home screen shows album art for featured music. And notice that the search button is always up top and playback controls are always down below, which makes it easy to quickly search for and play music, no matter where you are within the app.
Hidden navigation
The slideout navigation panel on the left side of the screen conveniently hides all of Rhapsody's basic functions.
Easy to dowload
The "+" button makes it easy to download individual tracks, or even entire albums in just a couple of taps.
It has radio stations, too
Rhapsody also offers genre-based and curated radio stations.
Now playing
Album art and controls are neatly displayed. What's great is that the app works in both landscape and portrait modes.
Search problems
Rhapsody's search function needs serious improvement, as it can only search for one parameter (artist, album, or track) at a time.
