We love our cheap puns here at Crave, but even we'd be hard-pressed to sustain an entire article on a nautical theme just because the Sony's latest Sony Cyber-shot superzoom camera is called the H20. H20, geddit? Sony has also unveiled the Cyber-shot T900, T90, W270, S980 and S930 point-and-shoots, so let's wade in... Hey, we might be able to pull this off.
It may be all go at the phone fayre that is MWC, but in a couple of weeks' time it'll be the turn of the camera world at PMA. In the run-up, several manufacturers are releasing new cameras. Sony has already said it won't be unveiling a new dSLR at the show, but let's dive into the selection of new Cyber-shots on offer.
The H20 makes a splash as a 10x superzoom. The T900 and T90 are a pair of slender 12-megapixel compacts with 4x optical zoom lenses. The W270 is another 12-megapixel model, this time with a 28mm wide-angle lens and 5x optical zoom. The S930 is a 10-megapixel model with a 3x optical zoom lens.
All except the S930 shoot 720p high-definition video, which can be played back on Sony televisions via the Bravia Sync feature. Click through our pictures for a look at some of the cameras and more details.
