The Samsung YP-K5 features a touch-sensitive interface that lights up when you place a finger anywhere on the front of the player.
We're not too fond of the YP-K5's proprietary USB port, but it's a small price to pay for such a unique device.
The YP-K5's screen is smaller than it could be, and photos don't look fabulous on it, but we dig the graphic-equalizer animation on the playback screen.
It's not the slimmest player on the block, but all that bulk is hiding a nifty surprise.
Push on the edge of the YP-K5 and out pops this handy built-in speaker. Sure, it sounds pretty tinny, but it's nice to have in a pinch.
The backside of the YP-K5 is fairly featureless, except for two rubber feet that help keep the player in place when the speaker is out.
The YP-K5 won't fit in a tight pants pocket, but it will slip easily into an ample purse or jacket pocket.
