Today, Research In Motion and Cingular Wireless took the wraps off the RIM BlackBerry 8800. The smart phone brings an updated look to the company's full QWERTY devices and crams in plenty of features. Take a look.
The RIM BlackBerry 8800 takes some style points from its slimmer sibling, the BlackBerry Pearl, and sports a sleek black casing and a trackball navigator.
A 2.5mm headset jack, a mini USB port, and a customizable shortcut key are on the left spine of the device. The BlackBerry 8800 now has an integrated media player so you can enjoy music and video on your device; a microSD card slot is located behind the battery cover.
Though the RIM BlackBerry 8800 retains all the e-mail capabilities that made it famous in the first place, the smart phone also has integrated GPS and BlackBerry Maps for navigation abilities.
