With its smooth and slender body and innovative touch-screen interface, the Cowon D2 begs to be touched. This feature-packed MP3 player offers stellar sound quality and a fantastic 52-hour rated battery life for music. What's not to love.
Navigating the D2 will seem familiar to PDA users. You can activate the touch screen with a poke of your finger, or you can use the itty-bitty stylus that Cowon includes for the purpose.
The Cowon D2 is dominated by a 2.5-inch touch screen perfectly suited to watching those recorded TV shows. The camera doesn't do the display justice; it's beautifully bright and crisp.
The right edge of the D2 features a standard 3.5mm headphone jack, but we don't recommend sticking the included headphones in there--they sound terrible. Hidden under a sturdy flap are two mini-USB ports and a reset button.
The stylus also acts as a handy kickstand. Depending on which way you insert it into the slot, it props the D2 up at either a 50- or a 75-degree angle.
