Photo Punch mashes up photos
We take a look at the newly released Photo Punch app, which makes it easy to cut elements from one photo and paste them onto another.
Photo Punch dashboard
The Photo Punch dashboard shows you recent work posted by other users.
Save your Punch Shots
One of the nice things about the app is that it lets you save several "Punch Shots" for use later. This way, you can even paste multiple Punch Shots onto a single background.
Variety of photo options
For backgrounds for your Punch Shots, Photo Punch lets you choose from your gallery, take a new photo, or even search the Web for images using the built-in search tool.
Photo Punch's autoselection
Photo Punch's auto-selection works best when your foreground item is clearly differentiated from its background. Here, you can see an accurate selection.
Selection troubles
Here, you can see Photo Punch having some trouble differentiating a dark-colored shoe from the carpet. What's more, the unpredictable manual adjustment tool was unable to capture the shoe as well.
Multiple Punch Shots
Here's an example of multiple Punch Shots on a single background.
Add some fun
Photo Punch offers a number of funny clip-art-like images to paste on top of your Punch Shots.
