A few days at a time
The default view of the app shows you the date and the day of the week. An off-color bar on the side indicates appointments on that particular date.

Tap on a date
Tapping on a date unfolds the events for the day. Swiping to the right on any of the respective events will reveal duration and location, if entered.

Add event
While adding an event you'll be able to enter only basic information. You can set up recurring events, but you can't create a multiple-day event at this time.

Quickly view the time
Since the app takes up the whole screen and hides the status bar, you can cup your hand and place it over the proximity sensor on your device to view the time. I had mixed results with this feature enabled, often leading to the time showing up while entering an appointment or simply trying to view my agenda.
