OnePlus 3T
The 3T is a tad more expensive than its earlier counterpart. The 64GB variant will cost $439, £399 and a new 128GB storage option will be $479, £439. The phone isn't available in Australia, but that converts to about AU$580 and AU$632.

The 3T (left) comes in a darker grey color. A gold finish will be available later after launch too, but only for the 64GB model.

Other than the color, the device physically looks the same. It still has dual-SIM capabilities, 6GB of RAM and NFC.

On the bottom is its audio speaker, a USB Type-C port for data transferring and charging, and a headphone jack.

Compared to the 3's 8-megapixel front-facing camera, the 3T has a 16-megapixel shooter.

The rear 16-megapixel camera remained pretty much unchanged as far as photo quality is concerned. OnePlus said it improved its image stabilization capabilities for video, but I couldn't discern much of a difference.

The phone's home button still doubles as a fingerprint reader. But it has a handful of new software features too, including more system gestures (like turning the phone over to mute a call, and taking screenshots by sliding three fingers downward).

You can also change the shape of your icons and assign a password to individual apps for extra security/shadiness.
OnePlus 3T
The 3T is equipped with the Snapdragon 821 processor from Qualcomm, the same chipset in the Google Pixels and the LeEco LePro 3. Its clock speed also increased from 2.2 to 2.35GHz.
OnePlus 3T
If you already own the 3 (right), rest assured you don't need an update. The 3T isn't a phenomnal upgrade by comparison, so there's no need to run out and replace it.
OnePlus 3T
If you're new to OnePlus, the 3T has all the things we already love about the 3, plus all those goodies you just heard about. We strongly recommended the 3 when it came out and we feel the same with the 3T.
