The Numark TTi includes a unique strip of iPod controls that let you navigate your docked iPod without reaching across the turntable.
The Numark TTi's mostly plastic design puts the metal where it counts: the turntable platter and the tone arm. Still, we wish the lightweight plastic worked better at dampening vibrations.
We see plenty of turntables around here and even more iPod docks, but the Numark TTi marks the first time we've seen them combined.
While you can't see it at this angle, on the back of the Numark TTi, tucked in the space below the logo, you'll find the TTi's connections for audio, power, and USB.
The Numark TTi offers many of the features we like in a turntable, including pitch control, a counterbalance, a slipmat, an oversized start/stop button, and a serviceable tone arm with a removable cartridge and headshell.
We're glad that Numark didn't go cheap on the tone arm mechanics. The entire cartridge, needle, and headshell system is replaceable and upgradeable.
