Nokia Astound
Introduced at CTIA 2011, the Nokia Astound is a rebranded version of the C7. The Symbian 3 device will be available from T-Mobile starting April 6 for $79.99 with a two-year contract.
Features
Features of the Astound include an 8-megapixel camera with 720p HD video capture, Wi-Fi calling, a 3.5-inch AMOLED capacitive touch screen, Swype, and Slacker Radio.
Design
Though Nokia has had its ups and downs, the Finnish handset manufacturer has a reputation of making good hardware. The Astound is a good example of that, with its sleek and premium design.
Right side
On the right spine, you will find a volume rocker, a mute button, a lock switch, and a dedicated camera key.
Top view
The top of the phone houses the 3.5mm headphone jack, power button, and Micro-USB port. The Astound ships with a micro-pin charger, but you can use the Micro-USB port to charge the phone as well.
Imaging
As we mentioned, the Astound is equipped with an 8-megapixel camera and has a dual-LED flash. There are plenty of editing options and tools as well, including face detection, different color tones, and an onboard photo editor.
Picture quality
Even in low-light environments, the camera produced sharp and bright photos.
