Get help with your health goals

MyFitnessPal helps you stick to your health goals by tracking the calories in the food you eat and the calories you burn during exercise. The homepage gives you an overview of how many calories you've consumed and burned, based on what you've recorded in your Food Diary. It also shows a feed of recent updates from your friends in the app.

Adding foods

When you make a new entry in your diary, you have a few options to find and add your foods. You can either pick from your list of recent items, search by keyword, or use the barcode scanner.

Coaching

When you finish your diary for the day, MyFitnessPal tells you how much you'll weigh in several weeks if you maintain the same eating and exercise habits. It also offers advice if you're not getting enough calories, or are eating too much to meet your weight goals.
