2022 brings us Knives Out 2, Avatar 2, a few original movies and more delays. Check out the latest blockbuster release dates.

2022 is the year of sequels (again)

2022 is a big year at the box office, as pandemic-delayed sequels and blockbusters are getting released in theaters at last. There are multiple multiverses as DC and Marvel unleash their latest flicks starring Batman, Thor, Doctor Strange and the Black Panther crew. Knives Out, Hocus Pocus, Top Gun and Avatar also launch long-awaited sequels, but there are a few original movies in there too. 

That's unless new rounds of pandemic postponements get in the way.

Check out the updated calendar of 2022 release dates. And don't worry. We'll let you know if any dates change again.

Thor: Love and Thunder (July 8)
