Motorola Milestone XT720
The Motorola Milestone XT720 is the next-generation model of the original Milestone, which was the GSM version of the Motorola Droid. The quad-band Android device is available unlocked for about $400 to $500. Cincinnati Bell customers can also get it for $199.99.
Bump in the road
Motorola got rid of the slide-out QWERTY keyboard, so the XT720 has a sleeker design. However, there's a slight bump the right side--where the LED lights for the media gallery and camera/camcorder notifications are housed--that gives the smartphone a unique look.
Size
The handset measures 4.53 inches tall by 2.39 inches wide by 0.43 inch thick and weighs 5.6 ounces.
Right side
There are a few physical buttons on the Milestone, including a volume rocker, a media gallery launcher, and a camera capture button on the right side.
Top view
On top of the device, you'll find an HDMI port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a power/lock key.
Camera
Motorola upgrades the Milestone XT720 to an 8-megapixel camera with Xenon flash and HD video capture.
Picture quality
The Xenon flash helped brighten colors of this indoor shot, but images came out a bit hazy.
