Motorola Flipside
The Motorola Flipside is one of three AT&T Android smartphones Moto announced this fall at CTIA.
Style
The Flipside looks a little boring head on. Black with silver trim, it's stocky any way you hold it. It's also sturdy. The trackpad is the only differentiating element from many other messaging phones with QWERTY keyboards.
Camera
The 3-megapixel camera produces pictures that are pretty darn dull. Thankfully, a suite of editing options helps keep subject from looking like the walking dead.
Side view
There's a 3.5mm headphone jack, a camera trigger, a power button, a Micro-USB charging port, and a volume rocker on the top and spines. The 32GB memory card is behind the back cover. We like that the phone comes with 2GB preloaded, we just don't approve of the location.
Keyboard
The proportions on the Flipside's keyboard are great. However, the material is raspy and a bit rough over time.
Keyboard close-up
The Flipside's keyboard is roomy without being overly wide.
