Miele announces its first robot vacuum (pictures)
Miele shows off their new robot vacuum at IFA 2014 in Berlin.

Meet the Miele Scout RX1
Say hello to Miele Scout RX1 robot vacuum. It joins a growing group of automatic vacs from Roomba, LG, and Neeto.
I see, I clean
One of the most interesting sensors on the Miele Scout Rx1 is a digital camera that faces the ceiling.
A familiar underbelly
If you think the bottom of the Scout Rx1 looks familiar you'd be right. It could be a splitting image of one of iRobot's older Roomba models. The machine sports two side brushes instead of just one though.
Remove the tray
Like many other robovacs, the Scout RX1 has a removable crescent-shaped dust tray on its back side.
Smarter, better cleaning
According to Miele, the Scout RX1 uses its sensors and camera to vacuum more efficiently.
