M2: Canon's second stab at the mirrorless market (pictures)

The Canon EOS M2 is shown here with Canon's EF-M 22mm f2.0 lens. With an adapter, EF and EF-S lenses from Canon's traditional SLR line of cameras can be attached.

The front of the Canon M2, shown here with no lens fitted, shows the APS-C-sized sensor, an 18MP model, measuring 22.3x14.9mm. Canon is late to the mirrorless market, but it has considerable resources to take on competitors.

The back of the EOS M2 shows its touch-screen display and its selector dial. Because mirrorless cameras lack viewfinders, photographers compose their photos using the screen.
