You usually can count on Alcatel to show up at a trade show with an armload of new gadgets. And as we're discovering, the 2014 Mobile World Congress is no exception. Even before the show began, the company released five new phones to the crowd assembling in Barcelona, Spain. And I wouldn't be surprised if there are more to come. Keep clicking for the whole new family, including a phone that doubles as a fitness tracker.

Alcatel OneTouch Idol 2 S
The most advanced of Alcatel's new phones (so far), the Idol 2 S looks a lot like the Idol 2, but with fancier features. In addition to LTE, it has a 5-inch IPS display with a 1,280x720-pixel resolution, a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, and an 8-megapixel camera.

Alcatel OneTouch Idol 2
The sequel to last year's Alcatel One Touch Idol is the Idol 2, a 5-inch Android handset sporting a beautiful premium metallic design in a slim frame. Unlike the Idol S, however, it doesn't have Wi-Fi.

Alcatel OneTouch Mini S
As you might expect, the One Touch Idol 2 Mini S (wow, that's a mouthful) is smaller than its Idol 2 siblings, but not by much. The 4.5-inch display still gives plenty of screen real estate in a 960x540-pixel resolution. It also has a 1.2GHz processor, Android 4.3, and an 8-megapixel camera.

Alcatel OneTouch Idol 2 Mini
The Idol 2 Mini lacks the LTE support that's in the Idol 2 Mini S, but it does come in several colors including this eye-catching hot pink.
