LG starts the show
LAS VEGAS -- LG held the first press conference of the day as CES 2014 began. William Cho, president of LG Electronics USA, kicked off the event.
Skott Ahn, global president of LG mobile communications, talked about how LG is introducing WebOS (remember that?) into TVs.
Reed Hastings, the CEO of Netflix, also dropped by.
The Lifeband Touch is LG's new fitness tracker.
We also saw a variety of new speakers and sound bars.
And new TVs, too.
Dave VanderWaal with LG Appliances showed off LG HomeChat, which lets you chat with your, well, home over your smartphone.
And who doesn't love an EasyClean oven?
New washers and dryers also made their debut.
LG will have an exclusive new partnership with decorator and product designer Nate Berkus, who will help inspire the next wave of LG Studio innovation.
Frank Lee from LG's mobile business brought out the LG G Flex.
That's LG's new Android smartphone with the curved body. Previously available only in Korea, the G Flex will come to AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile in the United States.
