LG's Styler takes a stab at home steaming (pictures)

The $1,999 LG Styler is supposed to de-wrinkle, deodorize and sanitize your clothes.

It comes with an Android-only app that lets you download additional cleaning cycles, troubleshoot your Styler and more.

The Styler enlists your phone's Tag On Near Field Communication function to send information back and forth.

That means that you have to be standing right next to the Styler to use most of the app's features.

To add a fresh scent to your freshly "Styled" clothes, you can stick a dryer sheet inside during a cycle.

The LG Styler is a tall appliance with a luxury-looking reflective finish and a touchscreen panel.

The Styler comes with a removable rack for hats, stuffed animals and sweaters -- basically anything you either can't or wouldn't want to hang up.

It also has two water reservoirs -- one for holding fresh water and one that collects used water.

The reservoirs are easy to remove and either refill or drain.

The Styler comes with a dedicated spot to hang pants.

It's designed to give your dress pants a better crease.

The Styler also comes with three hangars and can accommodate up to 4 or 5 items (depending on what you're able to fit on the included rack).
